Actress Oh Yeon-soo revealed an unusual spending habit that makes her think as far ahead as 20 years.
On the 28th, makeup artist Lee Kyung-min's YouTube channel 'Hello~ everyone, it's Kyungmin unnie' released a video titled 'Why have we been scolded for 32 years while still meeting? Opposite shopping dates with Oh Yeon-soo & filming set makeup.'
That day, the two talked about their shopping styles. While Lee Kyung-min said she does not tend to worry much when buying things, Oh Yeon-soo was the complete opposite. She revealed that she is cautious and opens her wallet only after thoroughly considering whether the item is necessary.
She said that especially as she has aged, her criteria for shopping have changed. Oh Yeon-soo confessed, "These days I buy thinking, 'If I buy this, will I be able to wear it in my 60s or 70s?'" She explained that rather than choosing pretty clothes right away, she first considers whether she can use them for a long time.
Her habit of using things she buys for a long time also influenced that. Oh Yeon-soo said, "I tend to wear clothes a long time and use bags for a long time," adding, "I developed a habit of buying with the future in mind. Doing so reduced my spending."
Oh Yeon-soo thinks about whether she can use items decades later rather than buying based on trends or a momentary impulse. Her pragmatic spending method, which naturally reduced her expenditure, drew attention.
