Jo Gwan-woo continued, "When the producer readily agreed I got angry. I didn't appear on broadcasts for about two years after my debut. But my records sold well," saying, "I appeared on broadcast just once and album sales dropped to 2,000–3,000 copies," which caused uproarious laughter. At that time Jo Gwan-woo's first album reportedly sold 1.3 million copies and his second album 3.2 million copies.
