Actress Lee Ui-jeong choked up recalling her battle with a brain tumor while standing before colleagues from 'Namja set Yeoja set' who reunited after 30 years.

That day Lee Seon-jeong, Lee Ui-jeong, Hong Seok-cheon and Hong Kyung-in gathered in one place after a long time because of their shared memories of the past MBC popular sitcom 'Namja set Yeoja set.' Lee Seon-jeong said, "How long has it been since we gathered? It's been 30 years," expressing deep emotion.
The four visited a photo studio in Yeouido and lined up for a commemorative photo. As they stood before the camera again after many years, a strange warmth surfaced amid the laughter-filled atmosphere.
This shoot felt especially meaningful to Lee Ui-jeong. Looking at the printed photos, she recalled her past period of illness, saying, "Didn't a red flag go up for my health?"
She added, "If I had given up hope then, I wouldn't be meeting Seonjeong here now. I wouldn't have met Kyung-in or Seok-cheon oppa," revealing her emotions as she spoke.
Her sincere confession moved her colleagues as well. They showed overwhelming emotion over the photo of the four, completed again after 30 years.
Meanwhile, Lee Ui-jeong was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2006 and battled the illness for a long time, and she is reported to have been declared cured after 15 years of treatment. The reunion with colleagues left a deeper impression because it was made possible by enduring difficult times and not giving up hope.
