After successfully completing his first Japan tour, Max Changmin meets domestic fans with a solo album.
According to reporting by OSEN on the 26th, Max Changmin will release his third mini album in mid-October and return as a solo artist.
Previously, his agency SM Entertainment released official materials revealing a fourth-quarter comeback lineup composed of Super Junior Yesung, Girls' Generation Taeyeon, NCT Jaehyun, NCT DREAM's full-length album and TVXQ! Max Changmin, WayV Xiaojun, NCT WISH's mini album, Hearts2Hearts' single album and others.
Meanwhile, Max Changmin has confirmed a mid-October comeback schedule and is busy preparing his third mini album. Notably, this comeback is special because it is a solo album released by Max Changmin after about 4 years and 9 months.
Max Changmin debuted as a solo artist in April 2020 by releasing his first mini album Chocolate. He released the Japanese mini album Close To You when he enlisted in the military in 2015, but his official solo activities in Korea drew strong fan response because they came 17 years after TVXQ!'s debut.
After releasing his second mini album Devil in 2022, Max Changmin devoted himself to group activities as TVXQ!, going between Korea and Japan. In particular, Max Changmin, who last year released the Japanese digital single My Bad and successfully completed his first solo Japan tour in 22 years, CHANGMIN from 東方神起 CONCERT TOUR ～The First Dining～, has announced a solo comeback after 4 years and 9 months.
Also, Max Changmin demonstrated his capabilities as a solo artist by performing a solo stage at the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026 in May. As he returns with a new mini album, expectations grow for a further expanded musical world.
