The Journey to Gyeongju, which took the top spot at the Korean film box office upon release, will hold the third and fourth installments of the "Killer GV."
The film The Journey to Gyeongju, which opened on the 26th (written and directed by Kim Mi-jo, presented by Lotte Entertainment·Michigan Venture Capital Co., distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Studio Hi-Five, co-produced by Euphoria ENT), will hold GVs with special guests thanks to the enthusiastic response from audiences.
First, on Sept. 4 (Fri) at Lotte Cinema World Tower, director Lee Hae-yeong, who has a deep cinematic relationship with Park So-dam, will appear as a guest at the third installment of the "Killer GV."
Director Lee Hae-yeong worked with Park So-dam on her first feature film leading role, The Silenced: The Missing Girls, and again on Ghost. At the third installment of the "Killer GV," Park So-dam, director Kim Mi-jo and director Lee Hae-yeong will come together for an in-depth conversation about the film and discuss Park So-dam's delicate performance in The Journey to Gyeongju.
At the fourth installment, held on Sept. 10 (Thu) at Lotte Cinema World Tower, director Byun Sung-hyun, who cemented Lee Yeon's presence through Kill Boksoon and connected with Byun Yo-Han as a screenwriter on the upcoming film Pahmun, will appear to support the two actors.
Park So-dam, who has been friendly with them, will join to share rich stories about the works and various behind-the-scenes talks. The fourth installment of the "Killer GV" will be conducted under the moderation of Movement CEO Jin Myung-hyun.
Meanwhile, The Journey to Gyeongju opened on the 26th as a family revenge drama about four mothers who, after eight years of waiting for their youngest daughter Gyeong-ju, who did not return from a school trip, set out on a "killer" journey.
