Singer Hyui participates in the OST of A Trap Called Desire.
On the 27th at 12 p.m., the KBS2 daily drama A Trap Called Desire OST "Bureudabomyeon," sung by Hyui, was released.
"Bureudabomyeon" is a classic ballad that expresses a desperate heart that cannot forget a departed person, repeatedly calling that name and hoping they will return someday. Rather than a special incident or grand story, it conveys a deep aftertaste by focusing on the honest emotion of waiting for a loved one.
Through this OST, Hyui showcased his distinctive, pleading timbre and delicate emotional expression. From the restrained early section that unfolds the emotion plainly to the chorus where the emotional line steadily intensifies, he led it stably and fully conveyed the desperate heart of waiting for a loved one with his plaintive voice.
A representative said, "Ryu Won-gwang and Son Yeon-sung, who have worked on numerous drama OSTs, participated, and the two's delicate ballad sensibilities and Hyui's plaintive voice harmonized to complete a well-made OST."
