Group U-KISS member Alexander announced a new start as a skin therapist.
Alexander posted several photos and a long message on his SNS on the 27th, saying "a personal story I hadn't told," and shared an update.
First, he opened by saying, "At the request of an acquaintance, I have been quietly working at a dermatology clinic. Working that way for a year and a half, there were many times when the clinic was really busy, and I desperately wanted to help the esthetic staff. But because I did not have a beautician license, I could not touch customers' faces. So starting earlier this year I studied, passed the written exam, registered at a school, and began preparing for the practical exam."
He continued, "After working and attending the academy in parallel and working hard for six months, I finally obtained the esthetician qualification," and added that he had passed the recent national technical qualification exam, saying, "I started as an interpreter/coordi, and I never dreamed I would take this work so seriously. I'm even moving one step further."
Alexander added, "So what I want to say is if an older person like me can do it, you can surely do it too. It's not too late to achieve what you want," and "If you meet someone at the clinic who looks like me, don't be mistaken—feel free to say hello. It's a subcharacter."
Earlier in May, Alexander said, "In early 2024, after U-KISS's 15th anniversary comeback, I became curious about how my life might be in another multiverse. So I submitted my resume online without mentioning my entertainment industry career, listing only my university degree and language skills," and said that after being accepted at a few places he first worked as a non-celebrity at an esthetic dermatology clinic. He later quit because of his father's hospice admission and U-KISS's comeback, but after steady effort he obtained the qualification.
Alexander debuted as a member of U-KISS in 2008 and has since expanded his activities, including working as an actor. He also appeared in the Hollywood film Home Sweet Home Reverse, based on a popular video game, and the Singaporean film 3 Peas in a Pod.
