Actor Kim Hyunjin continues an unrelenting schedule.
On the 27th, her agency Aer Entertainment said Kim Hyunjin will appear in "Next to Me, Francesca," set to be released this year.
"Next to Me, Francesca" is a spin-off drama that expands the universe of the sitcom "Hello, Francesca," which debuted in 2005 and sparked a "vampire syndrome." It deals with the story of a vampire, Pi Nayoung (Han Sua), who transferred from Romania and could not adapt to the human world and meets class president Jang Wooju.
As a sweet and deadly romance of youth torn between love and instinct, it is expected to captivate not only fans of the original but also a new generation of viewers, and Kim Hyunjin plays the role of "mother's perfect son" Jang Wooju. He is the class president of Dooil High School's second year, the youngest son of a family of doctors with physician parents, an older brother and sister, and though he appears perfect with a handsome appearance and smart, kind personality, in reality he is a perpetual second place who suffers anxiety about his grades and wanders because he does not know what he truly wants to do.
Having shown her presence as a "rising star" through numerous works, attention is focused on how Kim Hyunjin will portray the changing Jang Wooju after meeting MZ vampire Nayoung.
