Solo artist EVAN returns with a new song in the intense pop R&B genre.
On the 26th, EVAN raised comeback expectations by releasing a track sampler for the title track "Death of Me" and the album track "Twilight" from his mini album 1 "DEATH OF ME" on his official social media. EVAN participated directly in the lyrics and composition of the two songs released that day, showcasing his musical capabilities.
The title track "Death of Me" track sampler delivers an unrestrained sense of speed with dashboard visuals soaring to the limit and intense pop R&B sound. Through lyrics such as "Even if I stop this ain't the death of me" and "Engraved, destiny will begin," he expressed a firm will to move forward from a new starting line.
The accompanying album track "Twilight" is a pop track based on UK garage rhythms. The song likens the ecstatic moments felt from a partner to twilight, creating an urbane and sophisticated sensibility.
Earlier, EVAN sequentially revealed highlights of various genres—dream pop "Going Home", pop R&B "Noise", trap "Not Enough", and alternative rock "Immature"—foreshadowing a deeper musical spectrum.
Meanwhile, the mini album 1 "DEATH OF ME", which EVAN led the full production of and will prove his presence as a "self-producing artist," will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on Sept. 7.
