SBS's Friday-Saturday soda universe idol 'Flex x Cop2' (produced by StudioS, Big Ocean E&M, BA Entertainment) is a refreshing, upbeat and satisfying buddy-cop investigative drama in which chaebol detective Jin I-soo, who overturns stalled investigations with his wealth, and new Head of Team Joo Hye-ra unleash money-fueled antics. With an upgraded scale, cheerful teamwork chemistry and diverse attractions sustaining its rising popularity, Yoo Seungho's full-scale appearance has been announced, raising expectations.
The character Yoo Seungho plays, Yoo Seong-won, is the youngest son of a media group and a world-renowned sculptor. He is a third-generation chaebol who has built a close friendship with Jin I-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun) since childhood, and is the person that veteran Head of Team Joo Hye-ra (Jung Eun-Chae) has long suspected and pursued.
Released stills capture Yoo Seong-won displaying contrasting atmospheres that draw attention. At a homecoming exhibition, Yoo Seong-won, who received a bouquet, is wearing a bright smile. The seemingly innocent, harmless smile is enough to make one forget that he is the person Joo Hye-ra has been chasing.
But in the following scenes a different mood is sensed, catching the eye. There is an edge in Yoo Seong-won's gaze as he looks at someone, creating tension. In a scene where he holds a wine glass and closes his eyes, appearing deep in thought, a chilly aura is even felt. This pronounced temperature swing between extremes of emotion heightens curiosity about Yoo Seong-won's true face, which makes his inner motives hard to guess.
Earlier, Yoo Seong-won left a strong impression of dimensionality with just one scene, drawing a heated response from viewers. When he cheerfully greets long-unseen butler Hwang Jong-soo (Kim Jae-rok) with the innocent expression "Hwang, you're old. Did you clean?" the rude manner contrasting with his benevolent appearance created a jarring effect and delivered a powerful shock.
