"Gen Z beauty (Gen Z美)" group KiiiKiii (Jiyu, Lee Sol, Sui, Ha-eum, Kiya) will carry their presence into esports following the success of WhyKiiiKiii.
Riot Games, which hosts the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), said KiiiKiii will take the stage for the opening ceremony of the 2026 LCK finals on Sept. 13.
The "Pain in the Dark," specially produced for the LCK finals opening ceremony, was born inspired by this year's newly introduced champion "Rok," and through the members' powerful vocals and vigorous energy expresses a strong will to overcome wounds and pain, completing the song's narrative more three-dimensionally.
Having previously released the LCK season song "Leave Your Mark pt.2," KiiiKiii additionally released "Pain in the Dark" on the 25th, participating in the vocals for both season songs.
Based on their distinctive tone, emotion and diverse vocal charms, KiiiKiii showcased different musical colors, and "Leave Your Mark pt.2," which contains a message of support for LCK players and fans racing toward the end of the season, delivered deep resonance with its soaring melody and guitar sounds complemented by the members' solid high notes and delicate expressiveness.
Meanwhile, KiiiKiii released their third mini album "WhyKiiiKiii" on the 10th and are actively promoting the title track "Pop Off Pop Off."
