Global boy group AEN (AEN) graced the October cover of Japan's popular magazine Junon (JUNON).
AEN (AEN) revealed photos and an interview in the recently released October issue of Junon, showcasing each of the seven members' distinct charms and their strong teamwork to fans in Japan.
Junon is a popular monthly information magazine in Japan loved by young generations, featuring interviews and photo shoots of various stars. AEN, which debuted simultaneously in Korea and Japan, used this photo shoot to introduce the members' relationships that grew closer beyond different cultures and languages, revealing an exceptional sense of bond.
In the photo shoot, AEN completed a neat yet classic atmosphere with preppy looks centered on navy-tone jackets paired with tie shirts, knit vests and cardigans. The members harmoniously highlighted their different personalities and features, emitting a variety of charms from fresh boyishness to the refined sensibility of youth.
Junon also praised AEN, saying the team attempts performances that swing between cool and cute charms and that their close bond is truly the strongest. The magazine showed high interest not only in the music and performances but also in the members' solid teamwork and care for one another.
The interview that accompanied the photo shoot continued with talk about AEN's distinguishing points. Kyuhyun emphasized that the visuals with diverse charms as well as the members' warm hearts and good relationships are also the team's strengths. Haruto expressed confidence in their high-quality performances, saying they dig into both dance and singing until the end and that they want to be a great, attractive group in visuals, songs and dance.
AEN's global moves are not new. Before their official domestic debut stage, they appeared on the digital cover of fashion magazine Cosmopolitan's September issue, and then consecutively graced the cover of Japan's popular magazine Junon's October issue, drawing attention from major magazines in both Korea and Japan. Debuting, they are carrying out activities spanning Korea and Japan and are making a definitive mark as global next-generation rookies.
Earlier, AEN released their first EP [A NEW ERA OF NOW] on the 5th and debuted simultaneously in Korea and Japan. With the debut title track X to Z (Next to me), which showcased intense music and performances, AEN impressed global fans and will continue their full-fledged debut activities by appearing on domestic music shows.
Having received successive love calls from major magazines in both Korea and Japan and emerging as global rookies, expectations are building for what kind of music and activities AEN will use to capture fans' hearts going forward.
