The group BTS received its 10th France record association 'Gold' certification.
BigHit Music said on the 26th, "According to the official website of the French record association (SNEP), BTS's title track 'Swim (SWIM)' from their fifth studio album 'Arirang (ARIRANG)', released last March, received the single category 'Gold certification' as of Aug. 20."
The French record association's single category 'Gold' certification is awarded to songs that have achieved the equivalent of 15 million cumulative streams when converting streaming, downloads and physical album sales, and BTS proved their global influence by achieving this milestone in about five months after release.
In particular, BTS's 'Swim' is noteworthy as it became their 10th certified work. They previously received gold certifications for 'Dynamite', 'Butter', 'Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)', 'FAKE LOVE' and others.
BTS's 'Arirang' has maintained chart positions across various global charts for five months, continuing its long-running success. According to the latest chart released by Billboard on Aug. 29, 'Billboard 200' ranked it at 24.
