Actress Jeong Min-a transforms into a confident youngest daughter who boldly pursues her dreams.
The new KBS 1TV daily drama Mama's gone crazy, directed by Sungjunha and written by Na Seung-hyun, is scheduled to premiere Sept. 28 at 8:30 p.m. The series depicts a turbulent family coming-of-age story in which a mother who lived her whole life for her family, a mother who lived her whole life for herself, and the children of the two mothers, who are like enemies, become entangled.
In the drama Jeong Min-a plays Kang Da-mi, the personal assistant to Cha Seung-yoon (played by Dong-ha), chief designer at Hwanggeum Apparel. Kang Da-mi was adopted at age 5 by Jo Mi-mi (played by Kim Hee-jeong) and grew up bright and capable. She always put her family first and put off her own dreams, but now she has set a goal of creating a fashion brand under her own name and boldly moves toward her dream.
Among the stills released on the 26th, Kang Da-mi's bright and lovable charm catches the eye. Her radiant smile conveys her characteristically friendly and positive personality, and her surprised reactions in unexpected situations reveal a bold trait of expressing her emotions honestly.
But behind her energetic appearance she harbors deep affection, disappointment and even a sense of responsibility toward her family. In particular, while struggling between her dreams and her family, Kang Da-mi encounters an unexpected secret that shakes her life, raising curiosity.
This catalyst for repeated change and growth in Kang Da-mi's story is expected to add cheerful energy and warm emotion to the drama. Jeong Min-a is also expected to deliver a three-dimensional performance, expressing not only Kang Da-mi's trademark bright charm but also the complex and delicate feelings she has for her family.
