Comedian Ahn Young-mi returned to her DJ duties after maternity leave.
Ahn Young-mi returned to the DJ seat by participating in MBC Radio FM4U's '2 p.m. date Ahn Young-mi' on the afternoon of the 26th. It was a broadcast marking her return after maternity leave following the birth of her second child.
On this day Ahn Young-mi said of her comeback broadcast, "I dressed up a lot today and it showed on camera, but it looks hideous," adding, "It looks like the one-eyed monster from the movie "The Odyssey 2026." I will really dress up and come from tomorrow. It's such a mess," which drew laughter.
Ahn Young-mi married a non-celebrity man in 2020 and gave birth to her second son on June 25. She was briefly away to take two months of maternity leave, during which several special DJs filled her spot.
Regarding this, Ahn Young-mi said, "Ever since I announced my pregnancy they kept saying they would help. I want to say I'm very grateful," expressing thanks to the special DJs.
Ahn Young-mi also mentioned the birth of her second child and raising her two sons. She said, "I recently stopped breastfeeding," and explained, "I had housewife eczema from early pregnancy so my hands were a mess and I couldn't apply medicine, but now I can finally put medicine on."
She added, "She's the prettiest when she's sleeping," and said, "More than the physical hardship, it seems harder to watch my first child's emotions. The first child was a bit jealous at times and I have to be careful of hurting him with a single word, so it feels like running two households at once," which drew attention.
