Actor and senior model Byun Ji-won mourned her sibling who passed away and was subjected to absurd malicious comments.

Many people remember you and mourn you. Things I could never tell you while you were alive: you were really cool. It wasn't a glamorous life, but I didn't know you had so many fans. You're great. Stay well there. I love you, brother. Many people mourned together and remembered the deceased, but some internet users appear to have left malicious comments.
The late Byun Young-hoon tragically died in a helicopter crash on Aug. 28, 1993. He was 31.
At the time, the deceased boarded a helicopter over the area near the Jamsil Han River citizens' park cruise ship dock in Songpa District, Seoul, on Aug. 28, 1993, to film the movie 'A woman above a man.' It was for filming the movie's opening scene. The first scene was for Byun Young-hoon to descend by helicopter to have a wedding on a boat with actress Hwang Shin-hye. But to get close-up shots they descended too aggressively, and during that maneuver the tail rotor struck the water and it crashed.
However, rescue was delayed and Byun Young-hoon's heart and lung functions stopped, leaving him in a brain-dead state. Also, members of the KBS Entertainment Weekly reporting team who rode for the shoot and the helicopter crew died. Byun Young-hoon was hospitalized but was brain-dead and eventually died 75 days later on Aug. 28 of that year.
The late actor played Lee Ha-yeon, a royal descendant of Joseon, in the 1992 MBC drama 'Angry kingdom' and acted alongside actress Kim Hee-ae. He began to attract attention for a role that attempted to assassinate the emperor and rose to stardom. Cast in several subsequent works, he kept a busy schedule. But after the sudden accident left him in a critical condition, five productions had to revise scripts and find stand-ins, causing an emergency in the broadcasting industry.
'A woman above a man' was the deceased's film debut and offered Byun Young-hoon a good opportunity to firmly make his presence known to the public. But due to the unfortunate accident he parted from the world without fully seeing the light of his career.
