Kylie Jenner candidly shared her thoughts on the possibility of having children via a surrogate.
On the 25th (local time), entertainment outlet Page Six reported that Kylie Jenner discussed future family plans on her sister Khloé Kardashian's new Hulu reality series "The Girls."
Kylie Jenner has a daughter, Stormi (8), and a son, Aire (4), with her ex-partner Travis Scott. In the episode, Khloé Kardashian's acquaintance Iris Palmer said she was considering having another child via a surrogate, and Kylie Jenner shared her thoughts.
Kylie Jenner said, "Honestly, the idea of getting pregnant again right now feels insane," noting that she currently feels burdened by the idea of having more children. She drew a line on surrogacy as well, saying, "I don't think so."
She added, "I don't want to say never, but I'm 99.9% sure I can't do that," explaining that the likelihood of having a child via a surrogate is very low. She added, "I have healthy, big babies. So there's no particular reason for me to choose a surrogate."
Kylie Jenner welcomed her first daughter, Stormi, in 2018 at age 20 with then-partner Travis Scott. She later gave birth to her second child, son Aire, in 2022. The two split in 2023, and Kylie Jenner began a public romance with Timothée Chalamet that same year.
However, Kylie Jenner has previously expressed a desire to have more children. In an interview in March, she said, "I want more kids," but added that before expanding her family she wants to "focus on myself and my business, work, traveling with the kids, and enjoying time with them."
Timothée Chalamet also left comments last year that left open the possibility of having children in the future. At the time, he referenced people who say a child-free life is good because it allows more time for other pursuits and called that view "bleak."
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have not publicly discussed their relationship extensively, but they continue to show affection for each other. Timothée Chalamet mentioned Kylie Jenner by name in his acceptance remarks at the Golden Globe Awards and the Critics' Choice Awards this year, expressing gratitude.
At the Critics' Choice Awards, he said, "I want to thank the partner I've been with for three years," and added, "Thank you for being our foundation. I love you. I couldn't have done this without you," showing special affection for Kylie Jenner.
