"HYBE rookie girl group" TUIDE revealed their distinct musical color through a sensuous and lively performance.
TUIDE (Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seah, Lee Ha-nee) appeared on Mnet digital studio M2's Studio Choom on the 25th to reveal the performance of the title track "SUN KISS" from their mini album 1st EP TUNE & PLAY.
In the released video, TUIDE's clean, sensuous white-toned styling further highlighted their clear and pristine visuals. Under the multi-hued lights, the seven members' smooth dance lines and relaxed groove blended together to perfectly complete the warm and mysterious atmosphere characteristic of "SUN KISS."
In particular, the members immediately captured attention with tightly controlled pacing that relaxed excessive force and rode the rhythm flexibly. They completed restrained point choreography within freedom through detailed expressiveness, including dynamic formations constantly shifting between units and full group movements and gestures like gently pressing both hands during the "Ba-da ba-ba-ba" hook. Their expressions and gestures enjoying the music conveyed TUIDE's distinctive energy.
The title track "SUN KISS" is a song in the "soultronic" genre that captures the moment of trusting and expressing one's own voice and sensibility. A wild track, relaxed melody and a highly addictive hook come together.
Meanwhile, TUIDE has proven a powerful presence worthy of being "2026's top rookie," showing an unstoppable rise from their debut. Not only did all tracks from the mini album 1st EP TUNE & PLAY, released on the 24th, enter Melon's "Hot 100" (within 30 days of release), the title track "SUN KISS" surged to as high as 16th and secured a top position.
Additionally, immediately after the music video's release it rose to No. 4 on China's QQ Music music video chart, and among music fans praise has followed, calling it "the freshest and most sensuous debut of the year" and "an unprecedented sum of music and choreography."
