Rapper San E recalled a time when he struggled financially and also reported that his health has recently worsened.
On the 24th, San E posted on social media, "It was a cold winter in 2013, and no matter how hard I tried nothing worked, so I was running along the Han River at dawn and when I saw my bank balance I just burst into tears," and uploaded a long post along with a screenshot of his bankbook.
The released photo shows a transaction record from January 2013 with the account balance listed as '4,866 won.'
He said, "On a day like that who would be happy... I would have left..." and as he walked crying he realized for the first time what it meant when people say the wind chills you to the bone, he said, "I remember the bright lights of expensive, tall apartments spreading out and promising myself that I would definitely buy one of those within 10 years," revealing the sadness and desperation he felt at the time.
He added, "For the past few months my body and mind have been hurting so I haven't been able to take calls and I'm even afraid to make them," confessing that he is going through a difficult time in serious health condition.
Finally, San E added a warm message of encouragement along with his determination to overcome it, saying, "I'm sorry for causing worry, and I'm doing my best to bravely get better. I hope all the sick people in the world get healthy."
