Lee Seok recently made a special appearance as Kang Chun-sik in episodes 5–6 of the recently aired SBS Friday-Saturday drama Flex x Cop 2 (writer Kim Ba-da, director Kim Jae-hong), delivering fresh entertainment.
In the drama, Kang Chun-sik, played by Lee Seok, is guest room 701 at the center of the "Rosebird Hotel murder case" and a prime suspect in the murder of the victim Oh Min-young. But when his veil is lifted, his true identity is none other than the third-generation chaebol of Chun-sik Food, who is like a sworn brother to the protagonist Jin I-su (Ahn Bo-hyun). His shocking visual of extreme premature aging contrasted with his eccentricity left a strong impact from his first appearance.
Kang Chun-sik, who had been suspected as a suspect, turned out to be an "emotional romantic" who cried and laughed because of love. He fell in love at first sight with the victim Oh Min-young and confessed but was rejected; when he heard of Min-young's death he fainted and then burst into loud wailing, provoking laughter.
