Global boy group AEN (AEN) graced the digital cover of a major fashion magazine even before their official debut.
AEN (Jiyong, Bomin, Kyuhyun, Haru, Haruto, Junseo, Kaira) was chosen as the subject of Cosmopolitan's September digital cover.
In this pictorial, carried out under the concept "seven people who cannot be described by one color," AEN demonstrated expressiveness and sense despite it being their first magazine shoot. They perfectly pulled off looks ranging from trendy street fashion to classic dandy attire, freely shifting between bright boyish charm and deep youthful maturity.
They also completed a free-spirited and cheerful atmosphere by using wild pants, bold accessories and colorful point items. While clearly bringing out each member's individuality, their group shots exhibited perfectly harmonized visuals, showing the team's unique identity that shines "together yet apart."
According to people at the shoot, AEN led the set atmosphere with their trademark bright and cheerful energy, and the moment the camera was turned off they drew gasps from staff with deepened gazes and relaxed poses.
Cosmopolitan also said the team is "one that appears to have the potential to expand into any color rather than being defined by a single color."
Like the team name 'A New Era of Now' (a new generation reshaping the present), AEN consists of four Korean members and three Japanese members. On the 5th they simultaneously released their debut mini album "[A NEW ERA OF NOW]" in Korea and Japan and are stepping up full-scale global activities.
