The group UNCHILD postponed their comeback a week before it was scheduled.
UNCHILD (Park Ye-eun, Hiki, Tina, Ako, Lee Bon, Na Ha-eun) said on their official channel on the 24th that the release of their second single 'TiNG TiNG', which had been scheduled for Sept. 2, has been postponed.
High Up Entertainment explained, "It was unavoidably postponed due to internal company circumstances," and added, "We sincerely apologize for causing disappointment to ChaCha (the fandom name) who have been waiting for the comeback."
UNCHILD, which was scheduled to comeback on Sept. 2, had been releasing teaser content and conducting promotions. In particular, they attended the awards ceremony '2026 TIMA' held at Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium on the 23rd and revealed a performance of the track "Light (TRICKY GRLS)".
High Up Entertainment's girl group UNCHILD, the first girl group introduced by the company about six years after STAYC, combined the prefix 'UN-', which overturns normalcy, with 'CHILD (PERSON)', meaning a person not confined to any standard, in the team name.
The group consists of Na Ha-eun of 'Awesome Ha-eun', who has 5 million subscribers; Park Ye-eun, a former contestant on Mnet's I-LAND2: N/a; Hiki, the leader and main rapper who holds the musical center with solid skills and leadership; Tina, from China, who has striking visuals and exceptional charisma; Ako, from Japan, a quirky and eccentric "killing-part maker"; and Lee Bon, the main vocal who raises the musical completeness with a distinctive voice.
