'HYBE rookie' TUIDE made a flashy start to their rise to prominence by gracing the cover of a fashion magazine as soon as they debuted.
The fashion magazine 'Elle' on Sept. 25 unveiled the cover image of its September issue 'Super Elle' with TUIDE (Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seah, Lee Ha-nee). This pictorial is TUIDE's first magazine shoot since their debut, made more meaningful by the participation of global luxury brand Prada Beauty.
In the released photos, TUIDE captured attention at once by radiating seven distinct personalities and free-spirited energy. The seven members offered cool poses, trendy sensibilities and a fresh aura, blending their different charms in a refined way to present a perfect visual harmony.
In the interview conducted along with the pictorial shoot, TUIDE's exceptional sincerity and confidence toward music and the stage were fully revealed.
Member Seohee said, "We take pride in our music and performance, and that's where we get our confidence," expressing bold aspirations, and Elena expressed the wish, "If people come to like TUIDE, I hope the reason is the music." Saki showed confidence in the new song, saying, "If people move naturally as soon as they hear our song, that would be perfect," and Lee Ha-nee added, "I never want to lose the love for music and the sincere approach to it for the rest of my life," conveying weighty authenticity.
The strong trust and tight teamwork among the seven members also drew attention. Seoyeon said, "We believe in each other and have a strong pull toward one another. Sometimes we seem to know what to do just by eye contact," demonstrating exceptional coordination, and Jia voiced the expectation, "I hope we are a team as free as a playground with no single right answer." Seah also freely expressed her affection for the members, saying, "Meeting the six members has made my life much more varied and full of energy."
Meanwhile, TUIDE released their debut album [TUNE & PLAY] on Sept. 24 and made a bold bid for the music scene. The title track 'SUN KISS' is a song in the 'soultronic' genre that exquisitely blends warm soul sensibility with modern electronic sounds. With a leisurely flowing melody and a pleasant groove, it is imprinting TUIDE's unique musical color and garnering praise from global K-pop fans.<
