Broadcaster Sayuri could not hide her surprise at the unimaginably high house prices in Hawaii's upscale neighborhoods.

On that day, Sayuri visited high-end residential areas in Hawaii that can only be entered after passing strict security gates and looked around the properties in person. From homes with expansive ocean views to newly built luxury residential facilities, an extraordinary scale appeared one after another, eliciting admiration.
What especially caught Sayuri's attention was a penthouse with two bathrooms and two bedrooms each. At first she guessed the price to be as much as 25 billion won, but she was surprised to hear that the actual sale price was about $3.5 million, roughly 5.2 billion won.
Although much lower than 25 billion won, it was still a considerable price. With a Korean-style area of about 37 pyeong and monthly maintenance fees alone reaching about 3 million won, Sayuri once again reacted with surprise at the high upkeep costs.
