An ex-partner of actor Hong Min-gi went to his home and caused a disturbance, prompting police to respond.
On the 24th, according to Hong Min-gi's agency, Parable Company, the ex-partner, identified as A, visited Hong Min-gi's residence in Yongsan District, Seoul, the day before. A reportedly cried and caused a disturbance at the scene, and Hong Min-gi and residents called the police.
After Hong Min-gi and acquaintances arrived at the scene and the situation continued, police took A to the precinct to file a statement and then closed the case, according to reports.
Earlier, A claimed on the person's social networking service (SNS) that Hong Min-gi committed dating violence and made anachronistic remarks.
In response, the agency denied the allegations, saying many parts of A's claims contained facts that differed from the truth. It also said it would pursue legal action related to stalking and civil and criminal responses, including defamation, against A.
Hong Min-gi gained recognition in 2023 with the U+mobiletv original "Night Has Come," and went on to appear in tvN's "Love Your Enemy" and Tving's "Study Group."
