The group ILLIT completed the first leg of their tour, comprising 15 shows across seven domestic and international cities, successfully and returns with an encore tour.
ILLIT (Yoon-a, Min-ju, Momoka, Won-hee, Iroha) held their first tour, ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥' in HONG KONG, at AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 10 in Hong Kong on the 22nd and 23rd, meeting local fans.
That day's concert was the final show of a tour that ran across seven domestic and international cities with a total of 15 performances since March, and because it was ILLIT's first solo concert, the local fans' reactions were hotter than ever.
A rich set list that allowed fans to look back at ILLIT's growth narrative at a glance made the audience's hearts beat faster. From their debut song "Magnetic" to the new song "I Got Your Back (Feat. JISOO, MOMOKA of HANA)", they filled the stage with songs that have been loved by global fans. When "It's Me," which shook domestic and international music charts, played, a loud group sing-along erupted from the audience, and fans rose from their seats and followed the dance challenge, raising the atmosphere.
Close interaction between ILLIT and the audience also stood out. The members spoke in the local language to approach fans warmly, and the fans responded by calling the members' nicknames. Yoon-a and Min-ju gave a surprise cover of the local hit "몽중인(梦中人)", and Won-hee and Iroha covered "Next Stop: Tin Hau(下一站天后)", and they also took on dance challenges trending on Greater China social media, sharing a deep connection with the audience.
ILLIT said, "We are so happy thanks to GLLIT (Gllit, fandom name) who passionately joined us. Because Gllit sang with us throughout the concert and cheered enthusiastically, we will never forget these moments," and added, "Although this time ends, our story will continue, so we hope you will always be with us like today. We will always grow and keep working hard."
Having sold out all dates of their first tour and proving formidable ticket power, ILLIT will continue the momentum with an encore tour at Incheon Inspire Arena on Oct. 17–18 and at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Chiba, Japan, on Dec. 23–24 and 26–27.
