Group Spica alum Yang Jiwon announced her pregnancy at the same time as her marriage.
Yang Jiwon announced on the 24th on her personal channel, "Everyone, I'm getting married. I originally planned to marry early next year, but thankfully we've been given a new life, so I will become a mother at forty next year. So we are moving the ceremony up a bit," announcing her pregnancy along with her marriage.
Yang Jiwon, who said forming a family had long been one of her deepest wishes, said, "We two are, in some ways, really different, and in other ways have many similar traits. This person makes me notice things I hadn't seen, and as I love them I too become a bit more grown-up. Above all, I have come to meet God more deeply and closely than before, and the desire to live together in faith has grown in me."
Yang Jiwon added, "The major life changes that came all at once still feel a bit surreal, but I plan to learn and adapt to them one by one with a grateful heart. Your warm support will be a great strength to us."
Yang Jiwon, who debuted with Spica in 2012, released songs including "Dokhage," "Russian Roulette," "Tonight," and "You don't Love Me." Spica was known as a group produced directly by Lee Hyori, and after her activities with Spica, Yang Jiwon transitioned to acting and appeared in Divorce Lawyer Is Dating, The Witch's Game, and Uddangtangtang Family.

At first it didn't feel real,
Day by day it increasingly feels real:)
