It was belatedly revealed that singer G-Dragon prevented an accident in which a camera director almost fell off the stage during a concert.
A video of the Big Bang 20th debut anniversary world tour "XX : COSMOS" held at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi has recently spread on an online community.
The video shows a camera director filming G-Dragon while stepping backward to move. Seeing this, G-Dragon, in the middle of singing, motioned with his hand for the director to come farther onto the stage and stepped back himself to make room.
The stage was about 2 meters high at the time, and if the camera director had kept stepping backward, it could have led to a serious fall.
An internet user who said she was the camera director's wife commented, "G.D (G-Dragon) saved my husband that day." The person said, "My husband was backing up while framing the shot, and if not for G-Dragon, he might have fallen off the stage," adding, "You have no idea how shocked I was when I heard."
Internet users who saw the video reacted by saying, "(G-Dragon's) quick thinking is impressive," and "He prevented a major accident."
