Group ALPHA DRIVE ONE members Arno and Sanghyun expressed regret related to injuries and surgery.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE (Rio, Junseo, Arno, Geonwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anshin, Sanghyun) held a showcase for their mini album 2, 'UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST' (Unbreakable : Sonyeon Beast), at the Blue Square SO Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on Jan. 24.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE, who debuted in Jan. with their first mini album EUPHORIA (Euphoria), recorded million-seller status, secured top positions on major domestic and international music charts, and achieved four music show wins, marking a successful debut. They have continued their dazzling achievements by winning a total of eight awards, including rookie and main awards at major domestic and international award ceremonies.
Having achieved such dazzling results, ALPHA DRIVE ONE showcased a refreshing and free-spirited charm with the prologue single No School Tomorrow (No School Tomorrow) in May, and they are making a comeback about three months later.
Member Arno drew concern earlier due to an injury at debut, and he was injured again ahead of this comeback. In Jan., he missed some stages due to a fracture, and this time he twisted his ankle while dancing during an external content shoot and received hospital treatment.
On stage that day, Arno was inevitably unable to participate in the stage performance due to his injury. Arno said, "I couldn't perform at the debut showcase, so I prepared hard with the thought of showing a good stage, but it's disappointing that I can't show it in person because of the injury. Although I can't join the performance, this performance contains powerful energy. We prepared hard, so please show a lot of interest."
Sanghyun was diagnosed with a vocal cord polyp and is recovering smoothly after treatment. Sanghyun said, "Many people were worried, but the surgery went well and recovery is going well. As this is our second album, please give us lots of interest and love."
ALPHA DRIVE ONE's mini album 2, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST (Unbreakable : Sonyeon Beast), will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the day.
