Group NewJeans Hye-in showed a different side and revealed what has changed.
Group NewJeans (NewJeans) Hye-in graced the cover of Harper's Bazaar Korea's September issue in collaboration with Bottega Veneta. In particular, this pictorial attracts much attention as it is her first solo activity since returning to ADOR.
This pictorial, titled "In Between," captures Hye-in at nineteen, standing on the boundary between girlhood and womanhood. Hye-in stood before the camera with a boldly pared-down, clear bare face, evoking a mature, deepened atmosphere. She perfectly pulled off every outfit with extraordinary proportions, reportedly drawing admiration from the on-site staff.
In an interview conducted after the pictorial shoot, Hye-in said she was excited and nervous because it had been a while since her last pictorial shoot and she thought she could show a different side. She said the styling, which she had never tried before, felt novel and fun, and she wants to try various challenges going forward.
Hye-in, who marked her fourth debut anniversary on July 22, cheerfully answered a question comparing her at fifteen at debut and now, saying, "There are really many things that have changed, such as personality, habits, likes, and life priorities. But my sense of humor that reacts to dad jokes remains the same," bringing a smile.
Finally, she offered a warm greeting to fans, saying, "I want to ask how your day was today. I hope you find small personal happiness in your daily life and have days full of happiness."
