Actor Jeong Ye-in concluded the play "Flower, Passing Stars" successfully, marking a meaningful full stop to her stage journey.
Jeong Ye-in completed the final performance of the play "Flower, Passing Stars" on the 23rd at Seoul NOL Seokyeong Square SCON Hall 1. Since its opening in June, she filled the stage for about two months playing Ji-won, Mi-ho's friend and Hee-min's girlfriend.
"Flower, Passing Stars" is a work that depicts people recognizing and healing painful wounds. Jeong Ye-in played Ji-won, who hides wounds behind a bright appearance, and she fully embodied the character's deep inner life three-dimensionally by perfectly executing lines, facial expressions and physical theater-style body movements.
After the final performance, Jeong Ye-in said, "The two months of crying and laughing with the character Ji-won were truly an honor and happiness," and added, "The journey as Ji-won has ended, but I think Ji-won will be a great strength in my heart. I sincerely thank the audience who enjoyed the performance with us."
From the youngest member of the group Lovelyz to a solo artist with songwriting and composing capabilities, and now establishing herself as an actor crossing media and stage, expectations are rising for the wide-ranging activities Jeong Ye-in will show in the future.<
