I will make sure to prove it," Kim Soo-hyun faced a reversal after the YouTuber who raised the private life claims was arrested on charges including violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation by spreading false information), violation of the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes, violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (distribution of recordings using cameras, etc., and coercion to use recordings), and intimidation, as the seriousness of the matter was recognized.
Kim Soo-hyun's side said, "The deceased's KakaoTalk conversations made public to the public were found to have been tampered with and forged from conversations with people unrelated to Kim Soo-hyun, and the deceased's voice was also confirmed to be manipulated material generated using AI technology," and "We deeply thank everyone who has believed in and waited for Kim Soo-hyun," expressing the grievances to date and foreshadowing future activities.
