The group NEXZ packed a self-produced teaser full of bright Gen Z sensibilities, heightening comeback excitement.
NEXZ, ahead of the mini album 4 SAUCIN' release on the 24th, on the 22nd released on its official SNS channels the video NEXZ "SAUCIN'" : Bon appétit (Directed by TOMOYA) directed by leader Tomoya.
The video playfully unfolds like a game quest set to the track APPETITE, which Tomoya, Haru, and Huyi participated in composing. Scenes alternate between the members feeling hungry in the studio and heading to the kitchen to cook, and moments of them dancing and creating music, wittily expressing the NEXZ-style touch that completes music as a special dish. Dynamic scenes, such as vegetables flying in to be served that members tumble to avoid, add to the excitement.
Tomoya, who planned numerous teasing contents from the debut song Ride the Vibe to Eye to Eye, O-RLY?, Beat-Boxer, and Mmchk, once again captured fans' attention with his characteristic kitschy and sensuous visuals.
The mini album 4, officially released at 6 p.m. on the 24th, contains six rich tracks including the title track SAUCIN' and APPETITE, as well as LOCO, UPGRADE, 20 NOW, and ALIENS. In particular, the title track SAUCIN' is an upbeat eurodance song, notable for lyrics that liken NEXZ itself to a sauce that makes any dish special and for its refreshing festival mood.
