'Kim Ju-ha's Day and Night' actress Lee Hwi-hyang opened up about a misunderstanding she faced while traveling to Guam with her son.
On the 22nd broadcast of MBN 'Kim Ju-ha's Day and Night', actress Lee Hwi-hyang appeared. Lee Hwi-hyang, who left an enormous impression on the public with countless roles, has taken a leading role in a film for the first time in her acting career.
Lee Hwi-hyang said she has an introverted and calm personality different from the role she played. Because she is on the quiet side, Lee Hwi-hyang's private life was not well known, and because of that, she said she once faced suspicious looks even while traveling with her son.
Lee Hwi-hyang said, "My son was in middle school and he was very tall. When we went to Guam I boldly wore revealing clothes. I even showed my navel. It's a resort. I moved around naturally, and because my son was tall he would put his arm around my shoulder," adding, "The taxi driver was Korean, and when he saw me he said, 'No, they look exactly alike.' Later I found out there was a rumor among Koreans that I had come on a trip with a young man," which surprised everyone.
