Kong Hyojin sets out on a "one shot, one kill" hunt to get food in an isolated mountain lodge.
Today (22), at 9:50 p.m., episode 8 of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama A Bona fide Killer (planned by Kwon Seong-chang, written by Kim Eun-hee, directed by Yoon Jong-ho, Kim Ji-hun) will fully depict the past mountain lodge romance between Yu Bo-na (played by Kong Hyojin) and Kwon Tae-seong (played by Jung Jun-won).
In the previously aired episode 7, Yu Bo-na was shown saving Kwon Tae-seong, who had collapsed bleeding at a past client meeting scene. Later, Kwon Tae-seong found Yu Bo-na standing precariously on the hospital roof railing, leading to a dramatic reunion between the two. With the addition of Kingfisher pursuer Lee Dong-jin (played by Lee Sang Yi) facing off with Yu Bo-na, tension rose over how the relationships among the three would become entangled.
Ahead of today's (22) episode 8 broadcast, released stills show Yu Bo-na and Kwon Tae-seong meeting at the mountain lodge in the past, drawing attention. The way the two continue a tense, fleeting eye contact as they look at each other gives a peculiar thrill.
Yu Bo-na visits the mountain lodge to let go of everything from burnout, and Kwon Tae-seong circles around her. Interest centers on what feelings may have sprouted between the two and how the hidden past romance will unfold.
Meanwhile, Yu Bo-na goes hunting to get food herself in the isolated mountain lodge. Yu Bo-na's adept hunting, demonstrating the "one shot, one kill" skill synonymous with the Kingfisher, draws attention.
But Kwon Tae-seong wanders through the mountains searching for Yu Bo-na, who disappeared with the hunting rifle, and is eventually found collapsed. The crisis the two face alone in the empty mountain lodge raises curiosity about what changes it will bring to their relationship.
Lee Dong-jin's hidden story will also be revealed. Lee Dong-jin, together with his friend Kwon Tae-seong, holds a memorial service for their parents and releases emotions he had kept inside. Lee Dong-jin, who dreamed of being a reporter like Kwon Tae-seong during school days, had a painful secret reason for becoming a police officer.
Along with Lee Dong-jin pouring out his emotions in front of the memorial table, another fact about the Kingfisher that had not been disclosed to the press is expected to be revealed, further raising anticipation for the broadcast.
