Actress Park Won-sook drew a line against rumors of retiring from the entertainment industry and candidly revealed her future intentions regarding acting activities.

Among them, one subscriber said they wanted to see Park Won-sook again in a new work and asked about her future activity plans. Park Won-sook expressed gratitude for the hearts waiting for her but also admitted, "Now that I think the work is all over, I feel a little regret."
That did not mean she had great lingering attachments to past activities. Looking back on her time living as an actor, Park Won-sook said she enjoyed every moment and did her best. Rather, what made her hesitate to return was worry about whether she could pour the same passion as before. Park Won-sook revealed the concern of an actor who, if she takes on a role, wants to see it through properly, saying, "The 'diligence' I had in the past has disappeared, and I'm afraid I might do it roughly."
She also touched on realities that have changed with age. She said there are not many roles available for middle-aged and veteran actors, noting, "If there used to be 100 offers, now it's hard to get one or two."
However, it was not that she received no offers at all. When told she was known to turn down incoming projects from production teams, Park Won-sook explained it was because those projects did not suit her. She honestly revealed that even if a project appealed to her, she considered several conditions before deciding to appear, saying things like, "I can't do it for that kind of fee," and, "I don't want to work with that person," which drew attention.
Above all, Park Won-sook made it clear she had not officially announced her retirement as an actor. She said, "It's not retirement," and explained that when she left KBS2's Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together, she felt, "This is enough," and judged it to be the right time for her.
Debuting in 1970 as part of MBC's second class of open recruitment actors, Park Won-sook has worked as an actor for more than 50 years and has met the public through various works and variety shows.
