The group SEVENTEEN member Dokyeom graced the cover of a fashion magazine with a deeper mood and mature charisma.
On the 21st, PLEDIS Entertainment Co. said Dokyeom was chosen as the cover star for fashion·culture magazine "Dazed" September issue. This pictorial was carried out as a project with the French luxury jewelry·watch brand Cartier to spotlight artists who most vividly show the dreams of our time.
In the three released cover photos, Dokyeom captivates with deep eyes and a relaxed atmosphere. His languid yet mature aura, distinct from the emotional image he showed on stage, stands out.
Dokyeom revealed boyish charm with an innocent smile but also showed a contrasting appeal with more matured eyes and mood. He enhanced the completeness of the pictorial by expressing various emotions through natural expressions and delicate poses.
In the interview conducted along with the shoot, Dokyeom's candid story about steadily strengthening himself through consistent effort was also revealed.
Dokyeom said, "I always keep a mindset of persevering with consistency and making constant efforts. I have continuously worked on myself and consistently tried to show a good side to CARAT (the fandom name)," conveying his sincerity to fans.
He added, "(Now is) a time to prepare to return as a Dokyeom who will be firmer and deeper," raising expectations for the new image he will show.
Dokyeom has proven his musical abilities by being recognized for solid vocal skills and wide-ranging expressiveness through SEVENTEEN activities, the unit BSS (Seungkwan, Dokyeom, Hoshi), and the DokyeomXSeungkwan album, among others.
In addition, he is expanding his range of activities by appearing as an MC on the SBS weekly Monday broadcast "My Remaining Love," where his bright and warm charm has effectively served the role of a "sympathy fairy."
