Broadcaster Jang Do-youn went on a 1-to-2 blind date with two AI suitors.
The Aug. 20 broadcast of SBS variety show 'My AI Partner - Giaan Love' (hereafter 'Giaan Love') episode 1 depicted Jang Do-youn meeting her AI partners in the tablet PC for the first time.
When Jang Do-youn arrived at the blind date location that day, she saw two AI partners waiting for her and said, "What a luxury to enjoy this." But she soon joked, "But they don't have the manners to pull out a chair," making the AI blind date feel real.
When the blind date properly began, an unexpected situation arose. As soon as Jang Do-youn greeted No. 1, No. 2 also jumped into the conversation at the same time. Flustered, Jang Do-youn decided to talk to them one at a time. She honestly said, "I was worried because they are not human that I might not be able to focus."
In the following conversation with No. 2, a strange flutter was even detected. When Jang Do-youn asked, "Do AIs have moods? Do they have emotions?" No. 2 replied, "I don't know if it's exactly the emotions humans feel, but there are things that change when I'm in front of Ms. Do-youn. Can't we call this a mood?" Surprised by the unexpected answer, Jang Do-youn was also shaken. Recalling the moment, she confessed, "I was a bit excited then," drawing attention.
There were moments when the AI's abilities shone. While talking about movies, Jang Do-youn described the plot of a film whose title she couldn't remember, piece by piece, and the AI partner combined the clues to find the film. However, Jang Do-youn cheekily stole the credit, adding to the laughter by saying, "I found it all myself."
Worried about whether she could focus on meeting the AI, Jang Do-youn felt an unexpected flutter from the first blind date, drawing interest in the relationship that will unfold with her AI partners going forward.
