The 14th Bukope opens today (21st) at 7 p.m. at Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO) Auditorium and embarks on a 10-day journey through Sunday the 30th. Touted under the main keyword "the return of the legend," this festival opens with meaningful moments tracing the history of Korean comedy, distinctive performances by domestic and international comedians, and a celebratory stage by trendsetting band QWER, offering diverse attractions that span generations and genres.

At the 14th Bukope opening performance, a special segment will honor the late Jeon Yoo-seong, a senior figure in Korea's comedy world. Following this, a ceremony will present the "1st comedian Jeon Yoo-seong prize," awarded to someone who has followed his spirit and contributed to the development of Korean comedy.
The presenter will be comedian Lee Hong-ryeol, who has long been one pillar of Korean comedy.
