Singer VV expresses her convictions about the Waterbomb stage that sparked a "sexually suggestive performance controversy."
On the 21st, SBS's Friday entertainment show 무엇이든 해줄지니 - 비서진 (hereafter "비서진") released the teaser video of the new season's first "my star," VV, raising anticipation for the first broadcast.
In the teaser released that day, Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu head to the Waterbomb site and closely follow VV's Haru for a day. While VV was heating up the stage, Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu watched VV's performance from under the stage. At that moment, audience members who saw "비서진" began shooting water guns at the two, and Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere on site.
Kim Kwang-kyu said, "Strangers started shooting water guns at me. I was startled. When we were young, playing with water using a basin was all there was," showing fresh shock at the changed summer water play culture and causing laughter.
Earlier, VV performed a bold performance at Waterbomb Seoul 2026. However, when the stage video was released, some criticized that "the level is excessively high."
With VV's performance also shown on the broadcast, her performance philosophy is conveyed. She said, "I have a philosophy about my performances. 'Unconditionally, I make the people who paid to come in enjoy themselves,'" stating her conviction.
VV added, "I thought it would be the last time and prepared for three months," showing sincerity toward the stage. In response, Lee Seo-jin praised, "That's really amazing. the goddess of Waterbomb," and Kim Kwang-kyu also applauded, saying, "As expected, a pro. VV is really the real deal."
As curiosity grows about how a day of "비서진" with the "goddess of Waterbomb," VV, will continue, SBS's 무엇이든 해줄지니 - 비서진 will premiere on the 28th at 11:10 p.m.<
