Hong Jin Kyung said, "I wanted to avoid announcing the divorce as much as possible. But the reporters found out about it. Since they found out, I thought it would be better if I explained it myself than have it come out that way," explaining her reason.
She continued, "Even when dating, Rael always met with the father. We shared our history together," and Jeong Sun Hee drew attention by saying, "It wasn't that I awkwardly inserted myself — I had someone too. We had double dates."
Hong Jin Kyung said, "That boyfriend is still close with Rael's father," and Jeong Sun Hee asked the ex-boyfriend, "Are you doing well?"
Hong Jin Kyung said, "Anyway, there is history. So rather than talking about it alone sadly, it felt more comfortable and natural to talk to my sister as if I were telling her," revealing their special friendship, adding, "There was no one but my sister. The person who came to mind."
Jeong Sun Hee said, "I was grateful. There wasn't much time spent together leading up to such a difficult decision, and I was so focused on my personal recovery that I couldn't really take care of Jin Kyung's daily life, but when Jin Kyung shared that with me, I gratefully accepted that she placed weight on our history and I think I considered it positively."
Meanwhile, Hong Jin Kyung announced her divorce last August after 22 years of marriage to a businessman five years her senior. Since then, Hong Jin Kyung has revealed a cool daily life by saying she often meets and eats with her ex-husband and her daughter Rael through her YouTube channel and broadcasts, attracting attention.
