Actor Cho Jungseok said he once had his wife Gummy sing a wedding song on his behalf.
On the 20th episode of tvN 'Fresh off the Sea season 3' (hereafter 'Fresh off the Sea 3'), Yum Jung-ah, Kim Sunyoung, Kang Youseok, Roh Yoon-seo and guest Cho Jungseok's chaotic coastal life was depicted.
That day Cho Jungseok appeared before the four singing "Aroha," bringing laughter. Afterwards, while focusing on digging clams on the mudflat, Kim Sunyoung sang the "Aroha" that Cho Jungseok had sung earlier as a work song, adding to the laughter.
Kim Sunyoung then suddenly asked, "Is this often sung as a wedding song?" Cho Jungseok replied, "They sing it a lot."
Upon hearing this, Yum Jung-ah asked, "Jungseok, have you sung a lot at weddings?" Cho Jungseok answered, "I've gone and sung in person a few times," and Kim Sunyoung, married for 17 years, asked, "Could you sing at my wedding too?" prompting bursts of laughter.
Cho Jungseok recalled an episode related to singing at weddings. He said, "There was one time. It was a PD I used to work with who asked me to sing at his wedding."
He continued, "At that time I had vision correction surgery so I couldn't see and couldn't open my eyes, so I introduced Gummy. Then that guy said 'Nice' and liked it even more."
Meanwhile, Cho Jungseok married singer Gummy in 2018 and they have two daughters.
