The sweet love story of actress Ji Ye-eun and choreographer Vata, who confirmed their relationship this April, was revealed.
My Little Old Boy, which began its first broadcast in August 2016 and has established itself as SBS's signature long-running variety show, will meet viewers on the 23rd with a 10th anniversary special.
On that episode, to mark the 10th anniversary, AZ of the entertainment industry Tak Jae-Hoon meets MZ of the entertainment industry Ji Ye-eun and the scene of them taking on the "special rejuvenation project" challenge is portrayed.
Recently, Tak Jae-Hoon and Ji Ye-eun, who had decorated the congratulatory stage together at the 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards, reunited after two years. Ji Ye-eun led Tak Jae-Hoon saying, "I'll make you feel rejuvenated. You need to board the trend train."
The first place was a hot pot restaurant that has become a soul food for MZs such as Jang Won-young, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ONEUS's Gun-hee and Faker. The two started by following the hot pot culture of making sauces themselves according to their tastes. Faced with dozens of ingredients that go into the sauce, Tak Jae-Hoon was embarrassed and reached a point where he could not even distinguish between garlic and green onion that were distinctly different in color. Trying to regain his composure and follow MZ culture again, Tak Jae-Hoon said "I'm tired" and plopped down on the restaurant floor, raising curiosity about what actually happened.
Next, the two raised expectations by taking on the "gyaru makeup" that RESCENE, Lee Mi-joo and Rhee Minjung had tried and that continued to draw attention. After completion, the studio was turned upside down by Tak Jae-Hoon's shocking rejuvenated visuals, and Tak Jae-Hoon fell for his own appearance, saying "I feel like I returned to when I wasn't married," prompting everyone watching to burst into loud laughter.
Tak Jae-Hoon and Ji Ye-eun did not stop there and even attempted a video call with RESCENE's Minami and Wony, who were the originators of the gyaru craze. Even RESCENE, who were acquainted with Tak Jae-Hoon, repeatedly asked "Who is this?" and could not recognize him, heightening expectations about how dramatic his visuals that made him look like he was in his 20s were.
Meanwhile, Ji Ye-eun also revealed behind-the-scenes love stories with Vata, the choreographer of K-pop hit songs whom she is dating publicly, drawing attention. In particular, she could not hide her smile as she described Vata as a devoted lover who even learned to cook for Ji Ye-eun, making viewers feel warm.
That day, special MC Jee Seokjin revealed an anecdote that happened while he was doing Chungju Ji clan activities with Ji Ye-eun, saying he was the greatest hindrance to Ji Ye-eun and Vata's relationship, drawing attention. Upon hearing this, MC Shin Dong-yeob reportedly reacted "That's the worst," and the story of how Jee Seokjin interfered with the couple's romance will be revealed through the broadcast.
AZ Tak Jae-Hoon's mind-blowing "special rejuvenation project" by MZ Ji Ye-eun can be seen on My Little Old Boy, which airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on the 23rd on SBS.
Earlier, Ji Ye-eun had confessed her honest thoughts about dating and marriage on the channel Okiki Okk.
Asked "Do you imagine marriage after dating?", Ji Ye-eun answered, "If I date, yes. However, (that period) needs to pass a bit. I don't meet someone thinking about marriage at first." She went on to say, "I'm passive about expressing my feelings first to someone I like, and I can't say anything. I can't even show that I like them and I do nothing." Gabee asked, "Then how did you date until now?", and Ji Ye-eun replied, "So it really takes a long time. The other person has to come to me without fail, and I'm also shy. I'm prideful," sharing her real dating style and drawing interest. <
