From Moon Sang Min to Shin Si A, trending young stars have come together for a new Netflix work.

"담을 넘지 마시오>" is a high-teen romantic comedy set against the backdrop of the top male and female high schools separated by a single wall, about nineteen-year-old youths forbidden to date who face first love.
"담을 넘지 마시오" is set against the backdrop of Jinwol Boys' High School and Jinwol Girls' High School, fierce rivals separated by a single wall, and depicts the stories of nineteen-year-old youths beginning innocent first loves. Under the old folktale that "if you cross the wall you will pay the price" and the strict school rule of "expulsion if dating is detected," it portrays fluttering feelings that seem almost within reach yet unattainable and the school memories everyone likely experienced, conveying a soft high-teen sensibility in a modern way that will stimulate both empathy and excitement. It is expected to be a new work continuing the lineage of Netflix's K-high-teen romances beloved by global viewers, such as the film Love Untangled and the series Love Alarm.
The direction of "담을 넘지 마시오" is by director Lee Suhyun, who has shown sensuous and sophisticated romance direction through dramas such as Filing for Love, My Dearest Nemesis and Shooting Stars, and the script is by writer Lee Na Eun, who stole many hearts with realistic yet heart-fluttering memorable lines in Netflix's Melo Movie and the drama Our Beloved Summer. The two creators, who have delicately portrayed youth's excitement and growth, are expected to come together to depict first-love memories that anyone can relate to and captivate viewers worldwide.
The pairing of trending actors suited to youth romance also draws attention. Moon Sang Min, who has established himself as a next-generation young actor through Netflix film Pavane and dramas To My Beloved Thief and Under The Queen's Umbrella, and who won the Best New Actor award at the 46th Golden Camera Awards, plays the exemplary student and student council president of Jinwol Boys' High School, Lee Chi-won, who receives everyone's trust with a perfect demeanor.
Shin Si A, who drew attention across genres with the drama Resident Playbook and the film The Witch Part 2. The Other One, plays So-ran, the student council president of Jinwol Girls' High School who is popular at school for her lovable character. So-ran regards the perfect student Lee Chi-won, who excels in academics, sports and character, as her rival while passionately dedicating herself to everything. Moon Sang Min and Shin Si A are expected to complete the youth chemistry that brings to life the ambiguous feelings—whether simple competitiveness or budding excitement—between two characters who grew up together, raising interest.
Lee Min Jae, who has been noted as a next-generation rising star through the Netflix series Weak Hero Class 2 and the drama Crash Course in Romance, plays Gong Su-ho, a rival in a love-hate relationship with Chi-won at Jinwol Boys' High School who approaches So-ran for certain reasons and shows his charm. Choi Hee-jin, loved through dramas such as Heavenly Ever After and I DOL I, plays Kim Ri-ji, an upbeat transfer student at Jinwol Girls' High School and So-ran's roommate, bringing new tension to the story. As Su-ho and Ri-ji, who have seeped into Chi-won's and So-ran's daily lives for different reasons, may bring unexpected changes, attention is focused on the story of excitement and growth these four youths will create.
Meanwhile, Moon Sang Min recently received praise for his excellent acting in To My Beloved Thief and Pavane, and Shin Si A is also a notable newcomer recognized for works such as Hospital Playlist and The Witch 2.
