The group ILLIT continues the excitement that captivated Japan and today (20) will present a special collaboration stage on a Korean music show.
ILLIT will appear on Mnet's M Countdown airing today (20) and stage a special performance with HANA members Jisoo and Momoka.
That day they will premiere the Korean version of 'I Got Your Back (Feat. JISOO, MOMOKA of HANA)', the title track of ILLIT's second Japanese single. The song, based on energetic rock sounds, adds rap parts written by Jisoo and Momoka themselves, promising an intense synergy. The Korean version of the single released on the 17th has received praise from music fans at home and abroad.
ILLIT said through their agency Belift Lab Inc., "We are happy to perform in Korea with the HANA members we have long admired after Japan," adding, "We will show chemistry beyond imagination, so please look forward to it," expressing their excitement.
Jisoo and Momoka of HANA, making their first appearance on a Korean music show, also said, "We were confident it would be a great collaboration. We learned a lot during the production process," and added, "Please pay attention not only to the performance but also to the warm, consoling lyrics, 'you are not alone'," expressing their thoughts.
Currently, 'I Got Your Back' is dominating major charts, including reaching No. 2 on Billboard Japan's "Hot 100" and holding high positions on Spotify and Apple Music. The music video also made the global YouTube weekly popular music chart, proving its strong global influence.
Meanwhile, ILLIT, continuing its remarkable growth, will hold 'ILLIT LIVE "PRESS START︎♥" in HONG KONG' at AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 10 in Hong Kong on the 22nd and 23rd. The Hong Kong shows sold out all seats and added extra performances, and amid the explosive response from local fans they will accelerate their global activities.<
