Jang Dong-yoon is finally graduating from Hanyang University.
On the afternoon of the 20th at Hanyang University Seoul campus in Seongdong District, Seoul, the 2025 academic year second-semester commencement will be held.
Ahead of the ceremony, a banner congratulating Jang Dong-yoon on his graduation was hung on the Hanyang University Seoul campus. The placard included the phrase "20260920 cheering for another beginning" along with "Congratulations on your graduation, Jang Dong-yoon", "#HanyangUnivEconFin #radiantlooks #finallygraduated #happygraduation", among other messages.
Jang Dong-yoon entered Hanyang University's department of economics and finance in 2011, and in 2015 he appeared on SBS News after catching a robber at a convenience store in Gwanak District, Seoul. After becoming a hot topic online as the "handsome college student who caught a robber," Jang Dong-yoon lost 7 kg and debuted in the entertainment industry the following year.
Born in 1992, Jang Dong-yoon has appeared in a variety of works, starting with the 2016 web drama "Game Company Female Employees," and including the drama "School 2017," "To the One Who Forgot Poetry," "Dance Sports Girls," "The Tale of Nokdu," "Oasis," "Daily Dose of Sunshine," Like Flowers in Sand, and The Mantis: Original Sin.
Because his entertainment industry debut and activities prevented him from graduating on schedule, Jang Dong-yoon appeared on Ahn So-hee's YouTube channel last year and said, "I'm still in my senior year. I've been a senior for 10 years. Sounds like a drama title. 'A senior for 10 years.'"
A year later he will graduate from Hanyang University, and after entering in 2011, Jang Dong-yoon will don Hanyang University's graduation gown 15 years later.
