KCM of The Return of SUPERMAN cried at the sight of his wife, Bang Yewon, wearing a wedding dress.
On the 19th episode of KBS 2TV entertainment show The Return of SUPERMAN (hereinafter "The Return of SUPERMAN"), the KCM family's wedding dress tour was revealed.
Visiting the wedding shop with his family that day, KCM said, "This is truly a historic day. I kept my promise after 15 years. We are going to have a wedding." Kim Jongmin and Ralral clapped and said, "Congratulations."
Earlier, KCM had moved viewers when he successfully proposed after 15 years. When the day came to choose a wedding dress, he said, "Before the wedding, it's a historic day to try on the wedding dress that you've seen in movies or drama or films."
Soon after, KCM's wife appeared wearing the wedding dress. KCM could not take his eyes off her at first sight and reacted, "She's really beautiful."
KCM's wife, who said she lost 5kg after giving birth to their third child, captivated attention with her radiant beauty and photoshoot-like pose. Ralral said, "Isn't she a wedding model? She could be a model," and Kim Jongmin marveled, "She could just be featured in a magazine. What luck for KCM."
KCM reddened his eyes and said of his wife's appearance, "It felt like the curtains opening, like slow motion, and I wondered, 'Is this really my wife?' She was so beautiful and dazzling that I was overwhelmed."
The wife, watching her husband, also burst into tears she had been holding back. On this, KCM said, "Because I know what that feeling is, those moments probably came to mind and that's why she might have cried. I think I felt similarly."
In a subsequent interview, when asked why he cried, KCM said, "She was truly the most beautiful in the world. She could have met someone better than me, and she's beautiful even now, but I'm so sorry I couldn't let her wear a wedding dress in her young and pretty days. I cried because I'm grateful she waited."
Meanwhile, KCM and his wife Bang Yewon had their first daughter, Suyeon, in 2012; their second daughter, Seoyeon, in 2022; and their third son, Haon, in 2025.
However, when their first daughter was born, KCM faced personal setbacks including military service and business failures, which prevented them from holding a wedding, and only in 2021 did they finally register their marriage and become legally married. It was reported that they will hold their wedding this October, 15 years after their marriage, receiving many congratulations.<
