Jordan, the son of Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae, debuts as a music video director.
Hip-hop legends Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae reunite for a rare duet to mark the end of summer.
Through the special single "Let Me Love You," released today (20th), their voices come together again in one song.
The music video was conceived and planned by their son, Seo Jordan. He is credited as a co-director with director Han Sang-beom, making his debut as a director, which gives it special significance. Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae appear as affectionate lovers, conveying a message of love and consolidation with a retro arcade game theme.
"Let Me Love You" is also the first song that will open Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae's various musical collaborations planned for this year. The two will sequentially present various attempts that cross genre boundaries, including R&B and hip-hop. For this opening song, they completed a bright, exciting love song that decorates the end of summer, expressing a hope for a world that loves each other a little more.
The arrangement was handled by K-pop hitmaker and global producer Alan. He is a proven talent who has topped various Billboard charts multiple times, and this is expected as the first full-fledged collaboration he presents after joining Feel Ghood Music.
To coincide with the new release, Tiger JK will open a pop-up store and simultaneously launch new branded goods and clothing. The two are also scheduled to appear on the stage of the summer-defining music festival "Waterbomb (WATERBOMB)," and they will continue active summer activities starting with the new song.
Meanwhile, Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae, who represent Korean hip-hop, married in June 2007, and in March the following year they welcomed their son Jonathan. He attracted much attention from a young age for his cute looks that closely resemble both his father and mother. <
