Comedian Han Yun-seo announced she will marry her boyfriend, who is two years older, this fall.
On the 19th Han Yun-seo posted, "Family, I am finally going to be an October bride!" and "During the hardest and most difficult days when marriage seemed impossible, I, who was the poster child for old maids, never thought a day like this would come; I'm so happy and it doesn't feel real haha. It's all thanks to your support♥"
She continued, "I hope I can be a small source of hope for all unmarried people worried about marriage; it's like finding an oasis when you have given up, #escapingthesinglelife #heavenhelped" and said, "Now, not alone but the two of us will show you a more cheerful and happy life full of sweetness."
She also revealed her happy feeling of being freed from marriage stress, saying, "No more mom nagging to get married! No more going home alone for holidays! Even the mom who publicly sought a match is now liberated; I am freed from my mom's nagging lolol."
In the released photo, Han Yun-seo and her groom-to-be are holding hands affectionately under a banner that reads "welcome to married world." The two promised lifelong commitment, saying, "Thank you for taking me. No exchanges or returns, no refunds."
Han Yun-seo debuted in 2009 through MBC's public comedy program "Hatangsa" and earlier this year revealed her boyfriend, a non-celebrity two years her senior, on TV CHOSUN's variety show The Lovers of Joseon.
Scenes that attracted attention included a surprise proposal from her boyfriend, moments of conflict with her future mother-in-law while preparing for the wedding, and Han Yun-seo sobbing in front of her mother as a result.
