Singer Park Seojin donated funds to neighbors affected by the heavy rain that struck near her hometown.
On the 20th, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association said singer Park Seojin donated 10 million won to help flood-affected neighbors.
Park Seojin's donation will be used for recovery in the affected areas and for helping displaced residents restore their daily lives.
Park Seojin donated 100 million won last year to aid recovery and support displaced residents when a large wildfire occurred in the Yeongnam region. According to reports, Park Seojin immediately joined the donations after hearing the heartbreaking flood news from places such as Geoje, Gyeongnam.
Park Seojin, from Sacheon, Gyeongnam, said, "When I heard that places close to my hometown were damaged by heavy rain, I could not stay still," and added, "I hope the neighbors who suffered damage can return home as soon as possible and feel at ease."
Meanwhile, Park Seojin debuted in 2013 with the single album "Dream" and is currently active on various entertainment shows.
